Specifications include, but are not limited to: elect demolition activities at the existing treatment facility that include; pre-aeration basin, grit facilities and piping, influent channel and grinder equipment, solids concentrator in the control building, associated site concrete and/or structures, grating, stairs, associated piping, valves, and controls; miscellaneous mechanical/electrical equipment, and site modifications. Work on the pre-aeration basin and primary clarifier will require bypass pumping. Construction activities include providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and testing for the installation and/or construction of improvement to the following: Influent Pumping Station: Includes a new influent flow channel, a mechanical bar screen with a washer/compactor located inside of a new structure placed atop the existing wet well and connecting to the existing structure, repairs/painting of wet well stairs, removal/replacement of windows and doors, brick and structure repair, valve and piping removal/replacement, installation of a new flow meter, slide gates, a trash basket with davit crane, and associated mechanical, electrical, and controls components. Work in the existing wet well will require bypass pumping.
