Specifications include, but are not limited to: This request for Bid is to select a contractor to provide snow and ice removal services for the Douglas County Corrections (DCC) campus, Douglas County West Campus (DCWC), Douglas County Health Center (DCHC), and Douglas County Extension (DCE). Services will be provided in accordance with the specifications herein. Douglas County Environmental Services (DCES) and the Environmental Services Director will provide overall coordination for snow and ice removal services at all County properties and will provide direct coordination for services at the DCWC, DCHC, and DCE. Douglas County Public Properties (DCPP) will provide direct coordination for services at the DCC. 1.2. The specifications describe snow and ice removal services needed for the following facilities: 1. DCC is located at 17th and Jackson Street, Omaha, NE. The campus is bounded by Leavenworth Street on the south, 19th Street on the west, Jackson Street on the north, and 16th Street on the east. Most of this campus operates 24/7, and snow and ice removal services will be coordinated accordingly by Douglas County Public Properties (DCPP). 2. DCWC located at 156th and West Maple Road, Omaha, NE. The campus is bounded generally by West Maple Road on the north, 156th Street on the West, a residential subdivision on the east, and the Douglas County Engineers facility on the south. Within the campus are designated priority areas for snow and ice removal that will be handled by the selected contractor and generally during the late afternoon, evening, and early morning time frames, as coordinated with Douglas County staff. Portions of this campus operate 24/7 and snow removal services will be coordinated accordingly. 3. The DCE property is located at 8015 West Center Road, Omaha, NE. Note that this facility may be open on some evenings and/or weekends, when snow and ice removal will be needed. 4. DCHC campus is located at 4102 Woolworth Ave., Omaha, NE. The campus is bounded generally by Woolworth Avenue on the south, 42nd Street on the West, Pacific Street on the north, and Field Club Trail on the East. Within the campus are designated priority areas for snow and ice removal that will be handled by the selected contractor, generally during the late afternoon, evening, and early morning time frames, as coordinated by the DCES staff. Portions of the campus operate 24/7 and snow and ice removal will be coordinated accordingly.
