2.1 The conduit material shall be a minimum of 90% virgin (no more than 10% rework or reprocessed material), HDPE resin. 2.2 PE compound shall meet ASTM D3350 requirements and have a cell classification of 334430C. Higher cell classification values for the first six cells shall be acceptable except the flexural modulus shall not exceed a cell classification of five. The code letter designation for color and UV stabilizer shall be C (per Table 1 of ASTM D 3350). 2.3 The conduit color for Power applications as designated in Table 1 shall be black with three red stripes. Each stripe shall be approximately ¼” wide, extruded into the conduit 120° from one another. 2.4 The conduit color for communication applications as designated in Table 1 shall be black with three orange stripes. Each stripe shall be approximately ¼” wide, extruded into the conduit 120° from one another.
