Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security Officer Requirements1.There must be one (1) Security Officer on-site, at all times, from:a.7:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Mondays - Thursdays and,b.7:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Fridayswith the exception of Douglas County holidays (see attached).2.Contractor shall assure on-site coverage during meal breaks3.Security Officer shall escort employees and visitors to their vehicles after darkwhen requested.C.Contractor shall:1.Perform criminal background checks through NCIC on all proposed SecurityOfficers. If a criminal record is detected, Contractor will confer with the Directorof Public Property to determine if the proposed Security Officer is suitable forwork at MTC.2.Provide for immediate communication between the on duty Security Officer andthe Contractor's Command Center.3.Provide all necessary uniforms and personal equipment needed.a.Security Officers shall wear the uniform and all authorized equipmentwhile on duty.b.Uniforms must be maintained in a clean, serviceable condition.c.No weapons of any kind will be allowed on the premises.4.Maintain daily shift reports and provide a copy of same upon request.5.Contractor shall submit reports of incidents and/or matters of importance to theDirector of Public Property (or designee) within 48 hours. These are to besubmitted electronically.6.Upon request, the Security Officer may assist in developing appropriate securityand emergency protocols for the MTC
