Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Security Service Requirements: a. One (1) Security Officer on-site twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week including Holidays (See Attachment A). 2. Security Officer(s) must perform the following duties without limitation: a. Greet all persons entering the building and provide direction as needed to visitors, patients, customers, employees, vendors, and/or law enforcement personnel. b. Actively participate in all emergency preparedness drills. i. Security Officer(s) will be responsible to know and follow all current Douglas County Policies applicable to the specific emergency situation. c. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. d. Assist in intervention with “patient” who appears agitated or becomes aggressive. e. Must be able to communicate and work with law enforcement in a positive manner. 3. Immediately report suspicious activity to the Detox Director or the nearest staff member if the Director is not present. 4. Call 911 when appropriate. 5. Security Officer will unlock front external door at opening in the morning and lock external doors upon closing. 6. Security Officer must be familiar with Panic Alarms and promptly respond to Panic Alarms located within the CMHC Detox Facility. The Security Officer will re-set Panic Alarms, once situation is resolved. 7. Security Officer shall escort employees and visitors to their vehicles after dark when requested.
