Specifications include, but are not limited to: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 2.1 Pedestal Pole 2.1.1 The pedestal pole shall be constructed of Sch 40, spun aluminum with no coating. 2.1.2 The pedestal pole shall be ten feet in length and four inches in diameter. 2.2.3 The pedestal pole shall be threaded on both ends allow installation into the pedestal base in section 2.2. 2.2 Pedestal Base 2.2.1 The pedestal base shall be constructed of uncoated cast aluminum with a plastic door. 2.2.2 The pedestal base shall be square in shape 13.75 inches to each side and 15 inches tall. 2.2.3 The pedestal base shall have 3 set screws in the collar. 2.2.4 The pedestal base shall have an internal grounding lug. 2.2.5 The pedestal base shall meet or exceed AASHTO break-away requirements. 2.2.6 The pedestal base shall include (4) 18” anchor bolts, (8) stainless or galvanized nuts and (8) 2 ½” diameter stainless washers for installation and leveling. 2.2.7 The pedestal base shall be threaded to accept the pedestal pole in section 2.1
