Specifications include, but are not limited to: QTY 7,390 adult rooster pheasants; Adult roosters must be marked either with a leg band provided by the Game & parks Commission or; Adult roosters must be marked by deformation of the nares resulting from being raised with an anti-pecking device inserted in the nares; Roosters must be at least 18 weeks old as determined by NGPC staff upon delivery; Roosters must be fully feathered with adult plumage; Roosters must be alive and in good condition upon arrival at location site; In the event of rooster mortality during delivery to sites, re-delivery of pheasants will occur as determined by NGPC staff.; In the event that inclement weather or habitat conditions prevents one or more sites from being conducive for releases, NGPC will coordinate with the selected vendor(s) to re-distribute these roosters among remaining sites as determined by NGPC staff.; Re-deliveries or re-distribution of pheasants for the above reasons will not incur additional costs from what was delineated in the purchase order.
