Specifications include, but are not limited to: LES requires the services of a contractor to provide on-call staking and surveying support. This support includes, but is not limited to; construction staking, easement staking, engineering surveys, as-built surveys, and land surveys. Over the past three years, LES has averaged around 350 project requests and 2350 hours of labor to complete these requests. These projects range from placing a few stakes in the ground based off property lines to surveying and staking construction routes for road widenings. The estimated percentage of small projects (completed in eight hours or less) to large projects (completed over multiple days) is 80% to 20%. Land and easement surveys may consist of approximately 250 hours.
