Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall also protect existing roadway surfaces, sidewalks, curbs and public right-of-way areas that are used for staging/storing equipment, completing construction, or used for equipment access at their own expense. The Contractor shall determine their own means and methods of protecting the roadways, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, public right-of-way, etc. In all circumstances, absolutely no indentations, gouges, ruts, or other damage to asphalt or concrete surfaces greater than 1/8 INCH shall be permitted. The Contractor shall be responsible for repair or replacement of any damaged roadway surfaces, sidewalks, driveways, etc. that are to remain in place at their own expense, to Owner satisfaction. Heavy equipment shall not be used on sidewalks or over potential areaways.; The ground sleeves shall be installed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the City of Lincoln Standard Specification for Municipal Construction and the details shown on the Lincoln Standard Plans. The Contractor shall coordinate ground sleeve placement and orientation with the City’s Project Manager prior to installation to ensure they are oriented correctly to support the square sign post and sign installation. Ground sleeves shall be installed prior to the construction of the concrete or pavers in which they are to be set. ; Contractor shall fully excavate around the existing pull box to be able to adjust the entire pull box. The pull box shall be rest with the proper foundation material and set to match proposed grades. Contractor shall backfill and compact around the adjusted pull box to the proper subgrade elevations to accommodate the improvements around the pull box. The pull boxes throughout the project vary in size.; Measurement and payment for removing pavers shall be paid for in accordance with the contract price bid per square foot for the pay item “Remove Pavers”. Said payment shall be full compensation for all materials, labor and equipment for removing pavers, unclassified excavation, hauling, disposal and all other incidental items required to complete the work.
