Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Work to be performed under these contract documents consists of the construction of modifications and additions described herein to the Lincoln Water System Service Center for the City of Lincoln. The improvements consists of: a. New exterior fencing to secure the south side of the facility including new fencing, one man gate, two motor operated vehicle gates with card reader pedestals and loop detectors. b. Exterior site improvements including reduction of parking lot island, curb realignments, removal of existing landscape rock and shrubs, and concrete resurfacing. c. Interior building improvements including renovation of reception and clerical areas including new door. d. Expansion of warehouse stores clerk office including new door and reception window plus interior security mesh with man-gate to secure stores clerk customer service counter. e. Addition of overhead screen door, track, and opener to two warehouse overhead openings. f. Modifications to existing doors including weather stripping and closers. g. New door access control and CCTV system to cover main admin/warehouse building, production maintenance building, telemetry building, and South parking areas. Work consists of procurement, installation, electrical, communications cable/conduit, and functional testing. Final system integration work will be performed by others. 2. The improvements will be constructed under a single construction contract while the existing facilities remain in operation.
