Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Nebraska intends to procure a qualified Design-Build firm toprovide design and construction services for Donor Recognition and Branding forthe UNL Kiewit Hall Project. The project consists of a new building East of OthmerHall and fronted along Vine Street. There will be minor renovations to Othmer Hall sothe new building can directly connect to the Engineering complex at an upper level.The facility will be approximately 181,500 gross square feet on the east side ofOthmer Hall and span over a vacated 17th Street right-of-way. The closing of 17thStreet creates an opportunity for a strong focus building at the intersection of 17thand Vine. The site also allows for repurposing the streetscape into a courtyard toserve as an active learning space for the COE and a passive recreation space forthe Abel and Sandoz Residence Halls.
