Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide the new Correctional Center and existing Juvenile Justice Center a turn-key solution for a fully operational, flexible, secure, and reliable inmate technology solution including pay phones, tablets, and video visitation.; a. Calling Methods Inmates shall purchase virtual calling cards through the County. The proposed system shall utilize a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the inmate. Inmate PINs should be programmable by the County.; The telephone system must be capable of handling collect, debit and pre-paid calls as defined below: 1. Collect Call: Shall consist of the inmate placing a call through the inmate telephone system that is billed to the party accepting the call.; 2. Debit Call: Shall consist of the inmate purchasing phone time through the inmate trust account system before placing a call through the inmate telephone system.; 3. Pre-paid Call: Shall consist of the called party establishing a pre-paid account with the offeror to receive telephone calls from an inmate.
