● 50 lb. bags of ice melt pellets, 3-Chloride mix of Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, and Sodium Chloride. Must melt to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Preferred brand: Power Thaw by EC Grow Bidders must provide Brand & Manufacturer info in bid sheets. Bidder to provide MSDS with a bid. The bidder must be a local vendor. The term of this agreement will be for a period of one (1) year. The City and County may at their sole discretion extend the agreement for four (4) one-year terms. Following the initial contract term, the awarded bidder may propose price increases for any contract extensions offered by the City/County. Price increases must be requested 30 days prior to proposed increase and must be justified with documentation (e.g. reports, manufacturer statements, invoices, etc.). Proposed price increases will be reviewed by the City/County, who at their sole discretion will either approve or reject the proposed increase. CITY Estimated quantity (bags): 1,800 NOTE: The City will not accept quotes for Peladow, manufactured by Dow Chemical. The City of Omaha Parks Department orders must be filled within twenty-four (24) hours for pickup. Parks Department contact information will be provided to the awarded vendor.
