Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lincoln Electric System is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting proposals from qualified firms to complete demolition of two residential properties. Addresses are listed below. Parcel and data sheets will be included in bid documents. LES has conducted asbestos tests on all properties and has cleared all of them with the city to be asbestos free. All white goods and air conditioners will be removed prior to the demo by the contractor. This includes but not limited to air conditioners, refrigerators, dishwashers, washer and dyers, etc. If freon is collected during any of this process LES environmental team would like a copy of the documentation. The existing North curb cut and driveway on 2208 North 56th Street is to remain and shall not be damaged or removed. The reference curb cut can be seen outline on drawings, “Curb Cut” and “Driveway”. Demolition includes removal of the all structures, miscellaneous debris associated with the structures, and all foundations and slabs including the basement (walls, floors, footings, etc.). All tree stumps, fencing and fence posts should be removed and backfilled. The property is to be graded to a level condition. Extra care should be considered to adjacent structures and properties. Possible heating oil storage tank under concrete or garage, typically a 50-100 gallon tank. *IF present the contractor will need to be a licensed tank remover or subcontract this work out.
