The City of Lincoln, (hereinafter referred to as Owners), is requesting bids for Annual Supply of Mice, Rats, Baby Chicks and Baby Rabbits from companies, hereinafter referred to as Vendor(s) for City of Lincoln Parks & Recreation Department. RODENTS; 2.1 Vendor shall euthanize animals quickly and humanely with carbon dioxide (CO2) per the American Veterinary Medical Association panel for euthanasia. 2.1.1 Upon euthanization animals shall have legs and tails neatly tucked and aligned underneath their body and froze immediately. 2.1.2 After frozen they shall be put into reclosable freezer bags and stored to prevent freezer burn. 2.1.3 Vendor shall ship in boxes with dry ice to keep animals frozen. 1.1.1 Animals will be used for feeding Lincoln Parks and Recreation animals at the Nature Center.
