This project includes fueling system repairs at three sites at Fort Irwin, CA, approximately 37 miles northeast of Barstow, CA. The Bulk Storage Facility is located on the southern end of Fort Irwin, west of Langford Lake Rd and has the capability to receive, store, and issue Jet A (F-24) and Diesel fuel. Repairs to the Bulk Storage Facility include: Repair secondary containment berm concrete for tanks 7706, 7707, and 7708. Install secondary containment liners for tanks 7706, 7707, and 7708. Install tank-to-tank transfer system for Jet A (F-24) tanks 7707 and 7708. Repair refueler parking pad pavement. Construct refueler parking pad extension. Bicycle Lake Army Airfield (BLAAF) is located on the northeast end of Fort Irwin, and the Jet A (F-24) system is located south of the airfield. The BLAAF fueling system has the capability to receive, store, and issue Jet A (F-24) to aircraft refueling hot pits. Repairs to the BLAAF Facility include: Construct a new 12,000-gallon horizontal Jet A (F-24) storage tank including all necessary appurtenances, equipment, and containment. Construct a canopy for the new 12,000-gallon tank. Upgrade Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) panel. The Retail Fueling Facility is located at the intersection of S Loop Rd and Langford Lake Rd and has the capability to receive, store, and issue Jet A (F-24), Diesel, and Mogas. Each fuel grade is stored in a 11,800-gallon horizontal tank and issued via a dual-hose dispenser. To repair the Retail Fueling Facility: Upgrade Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) panel.
