Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) Building Systems Maintenance (BSM) department requests up to three (3) quality electricians to work on an hourly basis for an estimated 5550 hours (1850 hours per person); The University prefers qualified Journeyman if available but will settle for Apprentices if necessary. The University does not anticipate the need for these electricians to work holidays, weekends, and non-regular business hours. This contract will supplement our existing Large Improvement Project (LIP) electrical team to complete a variety of installation projects currently scheduled for the UNL campus. These projects will primarily involve conduit, wiring, device installation and commissioning electrical, fire alarm, HVAC controls and card access systems. UNL BSM will provide the project scope, schematics, material and supplies, and reasonable training necessary for the electricians to perform their assigned tasks. It is the University’s expectation that the same three (3) electricians will report directly to the University throughout the term of this contract.
