Meters shall have the following minimum operating performance requirements: Meter Size Operating Range 98.5% - 101.5% Accuracy Low Flow Registration @ % Accuracy Max. Continuous Flow Cross Over flow rate 3-inch 0.50 - 450 gpm 0.250 gpm @ 97.0% 400 gpm 12 gpm 4-inch 0.75 - 1000 gpm 0.375 gpm @ 97.0% 800 gpm 20 gpm 6-inch 0.75 - 2000 gpm 0.375 gpm @ 97.0% 1500 gpm 30 gpm Minimum cross over accuracy of 95% for all compound meter sizes. All meters shall comply with the latest revision of AWWA C702 for Cold Water Meters - Compound type, positive displacement, magnetically driven, cold-water meter. Water Meters shall meet or exceed new meter accuracy standards set forth in the latest revision of AWWA Standard C702 for displacement type, magnetically driven, cold-water meter. All materials and components used in the manufacturer of the meters shall comply with all applicable AWWA standards and the Safe Drinking Water Act. Meters shall be constructed of "No Lead" brass alloy in compliance of Federal Public Law 11-380. Operating principal shall be low flows are measured by positive displacement, nutating disk design and high flows are measured by a turbine meter. Low and high flows are defined as below or above the specified cross overflow rate. Spring loaded cross over valve actuated without the use of weights. Low flow registration shall be .01 cubic feet. High flow registration shall be 0.1 cubic feet for 3-inch and 4-inch meters and 1 cubic foot for 6-inch meters. Meters shall be delivered with HRE registers wired for ILC connection to support connectivity to Itron 100W+ pit style endpoints, capable of clip-on mounting to register. Note: CFG-0151-006 or equivalent 1 25-foot cable thin insulation (with protective cover) for factory potting directly to meter register by meter manufacturer.
