The City of Lincoln, Nebraska, Lincoln City Libraries, hereinafter called “Owner”, is requesting proposals from qualified entities, hereinafter called “Lessee”, to provide design-assist services and operate a coffee shop within the new Central Library, which will be located at 1111 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. The coffee shop will be located on the ground floor, near the northeast corner of the Central Library. An approximate ±1200 sq. ft. space will be available to the Lessee with an included outdoor space of ±300 sq. ft. The space fronts 12th Street and ‘O’ Street and will have an entrance separate from the library. Operating hours will be negotiated with the Lessee, but the City is interested in having the coffee shop open at a minimum during the Central Library’s regular hours and days of operation, with the potential of additional hours outside of library operations.
