BASE SERVICES – HEALTH DEPARTMENT NORTH WIC OFFICES 5.1 Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and supplies for the care and cleaning of the facility. 5.2 Equipment and supplies used by the contractor shall be subject to approval by the City 5.3 The following is a list of supplies and equipment to be furnished by the Contractor in the completion of duties outlined in this specification, including, but not limited to: soaps, waxes, hard surface floor machines, vacuum cleaners, waste collectors, disinfectant, cleaning buckets, wet mops, dust mops, brooms, glass cleaner, metal polish, bowl cleaner, cleaning cloths, chemicals, furniture polish, cleaning applicators and rags 5.4 The following is a list of supplies to be furnished by the City, but to be responsibly administered by the contractor: paper towels, urinal screens and deodorizers, wastebasket liners, hand soap, toilet tissue and spray disinfectant. 5.5 The City will provide contractor with adequate area to store their equipment and supplies and such area shall be maintained in a neat and orderly manner by the Contractor. 5.6 Contractor shall properly dispose of all used chemicals, containers and supplies in strict accordance with all OSHA and EPA standards and all local requirements. 5.7 Contractor shall advise City Agent of low inventory items for City-provided supplies. 5.8 Rooms are to be secured upon completion of work as before they were entered. 5.9 Cleaning shall be performed once a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday after 4:30 PM except for official holidays observed by the City or areas where schedule is noted. 5.9.1 Work outside the normal office hours may be scheduled after the contractor becomes familiar with facility procedures and areas that services will take place. 5.10 Janitorial services as specified shall be performed in the following areas and rooms: Every visit unless noted otherwise. 5.10.1 Two (2) Restrooms (each 60 sq. ft. for a total of 120 sq. ft.) 5.10.1.1 Clean toilets, urinal and sinks shall be scoured and disinfected inside and outside 5.10.1.2 Disinfect all hard surface, floors shall be mopped, rinsed, and disinfected 5.10.1.3 Mirrors will be washed and dry-polished 5.10.1.3 Empty trash 5.10.1.4 Replenish supplies in proper dispensers from Owner’s supply 5.10.1.5 Sweep and mop floors 5.10.1.6 Clean and disinfect drinking fountain 5.10.1.7 Metallic surfaces shall be cleaned and dry-polished
