Specifications include, but are not limited to: Trees to be trimmed to a minimum of 12 feet near Distribution Primary and Secondary lines. If tree removal is warranted, discuss with the City outside of bid. 2. Services and Street Light conductors shall receive a minimum of three (3) feet of clearance from branches making contact. The illumination cone angle of 45 degrees shall be cleared under Street lights. 3. The CONTRACTOR shall remove or shorten dangerous limbs overhanging distribution lines. Dangerous limbs are defined as overhanging limbs with a high potential for breaking or bending into conductors due to ice, snow or wind loading, regardless of the vertical distance between the conductor and the overhanging limb. 4. All volunteer and sucker growth under distribution lines shall be removed. All growth three (3) inches and under in diameter will be included in the CONTRACTORS quote.
