Specifications include, but are not limited to: A benefits consultant and long-term care insurance broker. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to engage the services of a professional firm with demonstrated successful consulting experience with health benefit programs, as well as other employee benefit programs with enrollments that include active employees, retirees, and COBRA participants. The benefits consultant should have prior experience in providing services for public sector benefit programs. The benefits consultant must offer a full range of consulting services including, but not limited to, actuarial/underwriting services; health benefits consulting; compliance review and analysis of benefit-related topics including legislative, IRS, etc.; and claims processing analysis and determining premiums for LES’ self-insured health and dental plans. In addition, the firm must have successful experience as a long-term care insurance (LTCi) benefit broker for public sector organizations.
