Oral History for Sanson Ranch, WICA
The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to provide questions and answers and notify the correction from a Historic Resource Study to an Oral History Project.
Q1: The Statement of Work specifies that the post-award scoping meeting must take place at Wind Cave National Park in Hot Springs, South Dakota, within 30 days of contract award. Would NPS allow this meeting to be conducted virtually instead of in person?
A1: Yes, it can be held virtually.
Q2: Will NPS provide the consent/release form that the contractor is required to use, or is it the contractor's responsibility to draft the form and submit it to NPS for review and approval?
A2: NPS can provide the consent form.
Q3: For the Technical Approach Volume, under the section on previous experience, may the contractor provide hyperlinks to relevant work products in lieu of including full work product examples within the submission?
A3: Yes.
Q4: Does NPS anticipate that the interviews will focus on subject-centered narratives or adopt a life course history interview approach?
A4: The subject is the Sanson Ranch at Wind Cave, so interviews/questions will focus on the ranch specifically. Interviews will be centered around the interviewee's knowledge of and/or time spent at the ranch. The goal will be to gather whatever firsthand knowledge is left from those familiar with it.
Reminder that all amendments must be acknowledged by the solicitation close date and time.
