Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. Liquid oxygen (LOX) shall be in accordance with the following Standards: 4.1.1. ANSI/AWWA B304-8,’Liquid Oxygen for Ozone Generation for Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Systems’; 4.1.2. NSF/ANSI 60, ‘Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals - HealthEffects’.; 4.2. Generator type being used is Fuji.; 4.3. Liquid oxygen (LOX) shall meet the following requirements: 4.3.1. Have an oxygen content of at least 99.0 percent, by weight.; 4.3.2. A water content not exceeding a dew point of -80 F at the time of delivery.; 4.3.3. A total hydrocarbon content not exceeding 20 ppm at the time of delivery.; 4.3.4. LOX shall be certified as suitable for contact with or treatment of drinking water by an accredited certification organization in accordance with NSF/ANSI 60.; 4.3.4.1. Certified analyses shall be furnished with each delivery.; 4.3.4.2. At a minimum, the oxygen, water and hydrocarbon contents of the delivery shall be indicated on the certified analysis.; 4.4. Supplemental Specifications: 4.4.1. The LOX supplied shall contain no soluble inorganic or organic substances in quantities capable of producing deleterious or injurious effects of the health of those consuming the water or would otherwise render the water unfit for public use.; BID QUANTITIES: 5.1. Estimated annual quantity is approximately 22,500,000 cf. (225,000 ccf).; 5.2. Liquid Oxygen will be stored in the City owned storage tank with a capacity of 13,000 gallons.; 5.2.1. Awarded vendor is responsible that storage tank can accommodate the liquid oxygen before filling storage tank.
