Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Organizational Information a. Provide documentation showing that the Applicant organized in the State of Nebraska or is qualified to do business in the State of Nebraska. Applicant must also provide proof that it is current in its registration with the State of Nebraska.; b. Provide documentation showing the legal and organizational structure of the Applicant.; 2. Management and Operations a. Describe the capacity, skill, size and experience of the Applicant’s management team, partners and key staff, including members of the investment review committee.; b. Describe the capacity, skills, size and experience of the Applicants governing board. Include a list of names and affiliations of its Board of Directors or other governing body.; c. Provide a description of the Applicant’s internal accounting and administrative control systems and the extent to which such systems can provide reasonable assurance the SSBCI funds will be safeguarded against waste, loss, unauthorized use, and misappropriation. For example, provide evidence of one or more to the following: a) internal audits b) annual independent audits c) program financial statements d) adequate accounting and financial management systems.; 3. Track Record a. Describe the Applicant’s process for evaluating and selecting investment candidates.; b. Outline the Applicant’s total capital. If the Applicant is a for-profit entity, “total capital” is defined as fully paid common or preferred stock, retained earnings (including current earnings), and cash. If the Applicant is a non-profit entity, “total capital” is defined as retained earnings (including current earnings and donations), cash, and debt that is subordinated to the claims of all other creditors.; c. Include a breakdown of the following: i. Total loan, or investment funds (including what amount are from debt, grant funds, and earned income); ii. Funds committed or deployed; iii. Funds available for lending or investment and the source funding (public/private)
