Sarpy County is seeking a qualified contractor for the Remodeling Project of the 1200 Building into an e911 Center. The County is using a Construction Manager at Risk for this Project. The Building is located at 1200 Golden Gate Drive, Papillion, NE 68046. The Building was constructed in 1975 and is approximately 15,312 sq ft of finished office space with a finished basement. The Project intent is a remodel of the upper floor office spaces and supporting equipment into a modern Communications Center and Emergency Communications office space. It is the County’s intention to leave the basement and exterior building envelope unchanged. Due to the proximity of the Building to the existing Emergency Communications 911 infrastructure, the Project is not anticipated to involve relocating any servers, communications equipment, or consoles which are to remain in service at their current location. New consoles will be acquired for the Building. The Building will need to be connected to the main Sarpy County administration and courthouse campus for telecommunications needs. The selected Construction Manager will be responsible for obtaining all permits for the project. All permitting fees shall be invoiced to the County as part of regular invoices for work completed.
