Specifications include, but are not limited to: LES is seeking bidders to submit bids to perform vegetation maintenance on miscellaneous 115kV transmission lines in their system. The scope generally includes tree or brush removal, tree or brush pruning, herbicide application, and removal/disposal of debris. Transmission lines included in the scope are L1800A (2nd & N Substation to 3rd & Van Dorn), L1800B (3rd & Van Dorn to 20th & Pioneers Substation), L3038 (2nd & N Substation to 20th & Pioneers Substation), and L3842 (Folsom & Pleasant Hill Substation to 20th & N Substation). The intent of this specification is to set out minimum requirements for performing the proposed work that meet the construction standards of LES. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to review the drawings and visit the construction site to determine any adverse conditions and to take into consideration all details of the construction which are not covered in this specification. These include but are not limited to American National Standards Institute, Inc. (ANSI), Standards A300, Z133.1 and OSHA.
