Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project will involve construction of curb/gutter, sidewalks, drainage structures, trail connection, and related facilities within the Project Area. Research of existing right-of-way widths will be required to assure that the designed improvements can be accommodated. Assistance with sidewalk easement acquisition and utility relocation coordination may be required. Effective communication and coordination with property owners regarding the removal of private encroachments in the public right-of-way, removal and/or addition of trees in the public right-of-way, potential easement acquisition, and reconfiguration of on-street parking will be critical to the successful completion of the Project, along with daily communication with MRA Staff and City officials. The design development phase of the Project will begin immediately upon entering into a Professional Services Agreement with the selected firm and construction will follow in the Spring of 2020. The selected engineer will be required to follow applicable City, State and Federal regulations.
