The Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Montana State Office intends to find interested and qualified contractors for services consist with developing and implementing a plan for stabilizing the McMaster Ranch Long Barn based on forthcoming stabilization technical documents that will be provided by the BLM¿s structural engineer. Currently, we have a draft statement of work. The contractor will be required to provide proof of historical preservation certifications and past performance examples showing proficiency in the work requested. The contractor will be expected to work on a consolidated timeline, in conjunction with the BLM archaeologist and engineer, and remove all waste and debris from the project area after stabilization efforts have been completed.

Site Conditions: Bureau of Land Management¿s McMaster Ranch - Butte Field Office. Site is located approximately 100 meters off Highway 2/US 12. A gravel drive leads directly to the barn which can be accessed through a corral gate.

Pursuant to Part 13 and Part 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, BLM intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or around July 2025. The estimated price range of this acquisition is less than $25,000.00. BLM anticipates issuing the RFQ under the total small business set-aside program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 712120 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $13 Million.
A single contract award is expected to be made. A firm-fixed priced contract is contemplated. Offerors will submit electronic quotes as a response to the anticipated forthcoming solicitation.
