Contractor shall provide The University the following: TEAM PHYSICIAN SERVICES. Contractor has the right to select, assign and make available to the University a Family Practice physician, who is sports medicine fellowship trained to be onsite in the University’s athletic training offices and travel with teams regularly: Supervising physician of the UM RATC certified and licensed athletic training staff. Work collaboratively with the athletic training staff of the Univ. of MT to provide Comprehensive evaluation, and care for UM student-athletes. Able to provide imaging with radiology reads (X-ray, Diagnostic Ultrasound, MRI, and CT-scan) urgently and when needed weekday, weekends and holidays. Communicate and collaborate with and make referrals to other health care specialists urgently and as needed. Stay up to date on Univ. of Montanna, Big Sky Conference and NCAA health care guidelines and recommendations for care of student athletes. Serve as UM Team Physician/Medical Director on committees. Examples: UM Drug testing, Big Sky Conf. Medical committee. Direct system/contact line for exchange of healthcare provider notes (EMR) and billing services. The Contractor shall also provide these specific services: On-site coverage for all home and away football games as team physician, radiologist. With x-ray & diagnostic ultrasound available on site. On-site coverage for all home games SC, MBB, LGBB On-site coverage for all Missoula Big Sky Championship events/tournaments with radiologist and x-ray available on site. On-site coverage/travel for Big Sky Conf., NCAA Tournaments SC, MBB, LGBB On-call coverage for home VB, GF, CC/TF, SB, MTN, WTN. On-call coverage for all home game visiting team injury care discussion and management. On-call availability to RATC staff for discussion and management of SA injury management as needed. (Walk in clinic /imaging availability) Walk in general medical – urgent care. On-site in the Rhinehart ATC a Family practice - Fellowship Trained Sports Medicine Physician, by mutual agreement between the Contractor, and the Head Athletic Trainer at the University. 3-4 hours a day 4 days per week August - May: 1-2 hours a day 2- 3 days per week May - July
