The Academic Technology and Outreach division at Montana State University seeks proposals to provide a Student Information System (SIS) for non-credit professional development, youth programming, and continuing education. While non-credit programs rely on some MSU infrastructure, the non-credit SIS is necessitated by the different schedules, financial models, customer service expectations, and demands of non-credit programming. As such, the non-credit SIS must be able to operate independently but integrate within the MSU technical environment as needed and adhere to all MSU University Information Technology policies and procedures. The solution will support requirements for the operation of MSU non-credit programming conducted both in-person and via our Learning Management System (LMS). Listed below are primary examples, and we expect growth areas with adopting a new LMS for non-credit programming. • Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) has over 750 members and five yearly registration periods. • Professional Development Programs (PDP) with ongoing registration in approximately 25 courses across 10 programs serving 550 adults annually. • Continuing Education Units (CEU) registration and archives for MSU academic departments. • Youth and pre-college programming for five programs serving over 400 youth annually. • Montana State University Extension Service for online program delivery.
