The purpose of this posting is to upload all questions received to date below:
Q1. Can scaffolding be used to access the sign letters?
A1. Yes, as long as plywood or some other rigid protective layer covers the Building TPO roof membrane.
Q2. How can I get on the building roof?
A2. Contractor’s must access the roof from outside the building via ladders.
Q3. Can the road be blocked if a Manlift is used?
A3. The road can’t be fully blocked, a minimum of 15ft must be left open for Fire Truck/Emergency access.
Q4. Taping the SIP panel grooves completely tight will be challenging. What is an acceptable amount or paint bleed?
A4. 5 spot minor paint bleed spots is acceptable as long as every effort Is made to prevent them and they can’t be seen from the ground.
Q5. What is the existing sign paint color.
A5. The existing sign paint color is Tobacco Brown.
Q6. What is the existing metal substrate?
A6. The existing metal substrate is G90/Galvanized metal.

JKSE252403 Building 25 - Repaint (1) MONTANA AIR NATIONAL GUARD Lettering The existing letters are 3' - 6" in height. Provide all incidentals to sand/prepare/prime the existing lettering and repaint with exterior high-quality paint approved lettering to Building 25 IAW the Statement of Work dated 9 September 2025.
The Contractor quote shall be submitted with quantities, unit prices, mobilization and costs included. The Contractor shall dispose of all excess paint, drop cloths, and other items at their cost. The contractor shall provide all supplies, parts, equipment, tools, labor, personnel, transportation, supervision, and management necessary to Prepare & Paint the existing logo plus provide a warranty of 1 years materials and 1 year labor. The project will be completed in accordance with the project contract documents, drawings, specifications, Federal and State law, and the terms and conditions of the contract.
