Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals and traffic control necessary to produce, haul, place, tack and compact approximately 6,130 tons of ¾” Commercial Plant Mix Grade S PG 58H-34 asphalt mix material. The overlay shall be paved 0.15 feet thick and approximately 27 feet wide. Contractor is responsible for test trailer, transport, and setup. If the Department decides to perform testing at an area lab, this bid item will be deleted from the contract. The quantity is estimated and will be changed accordingly depending on pickup and delivery locations and miles transported. There will be 50’ tapers at the beginning and end of the project. The contractor shall be responsible for all private property damage claims resulting from performance of the tasks described above.
