The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Overlay Gallatin Canyon Patching Bozeman Area. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials incidentals and traffic control to cold mill approximately 35,000 square yards of roadway to a depth of .15’ in approximately 10 locations as directed by MDT's project manager. The Contractor is responsible for hauling and disposal of the generated cold millings. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals and traffic control necessary to produce, haul, place, tack and compact approximately 5,030 tons of 3/4” Commercial Plant Mix Grade PG 58-28 asphalt mix material. The overlay shall be paved .15 feet thick and approximately 24 feet wide. Contractor is responsible for test trailer, transport, and setup. If the Department decides to perform testing at an area lab, this bid item will be deleted from the contract. The quantity is estimated and will be changed accordingly. Project manager will mark various locations in both travel lanes depending on needs, approximately 10 locations per travel lane.
