• Review the 30 Day Release Report, the August 2019 UVOST Investigation Report, the 2021 Monitoring Well Installation & Groundwater Monitoring Report, and the February 2024 Additional Remedial Investigation Report. • Obtain the necessary underground utility locates prior to work. • Secure the necessary encroachment permits to conduct work within MDT ROW, including a traffic control plan. • Properly abandon MW-1 and MW-1S, which are nested wells. • Conduct source removal of vadose zone impacted soil. The area estimated for source removal covers approximately 2,400 square feet to a depth of approximately 8-feet bgs, totaling approximately 720 cubic yards. Separate clean overburden to reduce amount requiring treatment. From the boring logs it is anticipated that up to 50% of soil will be clean, but for the purpose of the proposal assume that only 200 of clean overburden will not require treatment. • Approximately 30 cubic yards of flowable fill marks the previous excavation conducted in 2018. If flowable fill is stable and does not interfere the excavation, it will not need to be removed. If flowable fill crumbles into the excavation, it may be removed as necessary to complete the project.
