The contractor will: 1. Establish, operate, and manage a misdemeanor probation program for those persons sentenced to misdemeanor probation of adult offenses as determined by Justice and District Court compliant with §§ 46-23-1005 and 46-23-1011 of the Montana Code Annotated (MCA) and in accordance with the conditions set by a judge as defined by Administrative Rules of Montana 23.13.102 (16) (a.– e.). Services must align with evidence-based practices and focus on behavioral change, not just compliance monitoring. 2. Adequately manage anticipated program volume—Missoula County anticipates that 75 – 125 people per year will be sentenced to the Misdemeanor Probation Program. 3. Provide, at its sole cost and expense, the necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and insurance which are sufficient to discharge the duties of the contractor under the terms of this Request for Proposal.
