Montana Natural Resource Damage Program (NRDP) is conducting a limited solicitation with the intention of entering into one Agreement for a cultural resource inventory and report for the Racetrack Lake Dam Improvements Project located in Granite County, Montana, in advance of conducting any earth disturbing activities as part of the project. Prior to conducting the inventory, the Contractor will be required to submit a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service, Application for Permit for Archeological Investigations, and secure a permit to proceed. The proposed inventory will include the identification, mapping, and documentation of historic (buildings and structures) and archaeological (e.g., lithic scatters, tipi rings, rock art, and buried campsites) sites located within the project area. NRDP requests this information to assist in the management of potential impacts to cultural resources due to proposed ground-disturbing activities.
