Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Demolition of the existing water treatment plant and corrosion control buildings following successful startup of the new replacement Water Treatment Plant (WTP) facilities, construction of a new residuals storage lagoon, construction of new residuals drying beds, construction of a new on-site sewage treatment system, construction of a new intake structure and intake facility for the existing Sourdough Creek raw water source intake, construction of a new expansion to the facility flow control building, construction of a raw 42,000 square foot water treatment building that houses administration, maintenance, chemical storage, membrane treatment, maintenance, laboratory and preliminary treatment areas, installation of Owner furnished membrane treatment at a capacity of 22 mgd, and construction of all associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control and general sitework items. The work will be completed under two separate contract schedules (Sourdough Intake and Flow Control Facilities and Water Treatment Plant) with OWNER'S Engineer completing required instrumentation and control software integration to the new WTP SCADA system for implementing control strategies proposed. The OWNER also reserves the right to assign the OWNER'S Contract for furnishing Goods and Special Services to the successful bidder (Contractor) and Contractor shall consent to such assignment.
