Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1 4.3.2 Preliminary project research to include user interviews, domestic factory manufacturing process and material availability research, wear pattern research, Marine Corps PM ICE written requirement research. Work sufficient to gain an understanding of PM ICE formal and informal requirements, user expectations, domestic manufacturing of materials and footwear and associated limitations 2 4.3.2 Design phase: create three unique 2D concept designs for illustration via email, phone or in person to PM ICE and MilTech personnel. Alter the 2D design concepts based on PM ICE feedback. Deliver 2D designs to the Development Vendor. The unique design concepts may use some of the same sub assemblies such as sole, tongue, vamp, etc. 3 4.3.2 Prototyping phase: work with the Development Vendor and single or multiple factories to ensure the proper prototyping of each of the three designs to be delivered by September 30, 2013. Attendance at the final prototype evaluation meeting. 4 Travel Airfare, Lodging, & Other reimbursable expenses including shipping. (Not to Exceed)
