Montana Army National Guard Catered Meals in support of the Warrior Wellness Program.
The Montana Army National Guard (MTARNG), Fort Harrison, MT, is conducting market research to identify contractors capable of providing Catered Meals. This is a supply contract to support Warrior Wellness Annual Training (AT). The goal is to engage a vendor who can supply breakfast, lunch, and dinner catered meals that are nutritionally balanced, diverse in options, and meet Soldiers' caloric requirements. These meals aim to promote healthier eating habits for Soldiers.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 722320 - Caterers. The small business size standard for this requirement is $9M.
This is a sources sought announcement; this is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ}. There is no quote sheet, solicitation, with this announcement. It DOES NOT constitute a commitment by the U.S. Government. No contract will be awarded from this sources sought notice. Response is strictly voluntary, and NO reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests.
The purpose of the sources sought is to gather information on the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of small business community members within the industry. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ if issued. No site visits or an Industry Day has been planned in association to this sources sought.
The MTARNG is contemplating a multiple year contract with ONE BASE YEAR and FOUR OPTION YEARS or a Single Award Task Order Contract.
Project Description: Approximately 60 Soldiers attend the Warrior Wellness program annually. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided for with an estimated 2,520 meals per program year. The program typically runs in the month of August for a two-week duration. Meals will be served out of a facility located on Fort Harrison. Meals shall be delivered to this building prepared and ready to serve. The contractor will have access to a steam table, chilled salad bar island, and cold storage to aid in the distribution of meals. Meals will be served by the contractor’s personnel. The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning the equipment used during the food serving process, including disposal of trash/waste that is generated during serving. Soldiers from the MTARNG will be responsible for disposal of trash/waste that accumulates as a result of meal consumption.
