Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will extend existing overhead 3-phase power on Bart Farm Road south to the new Aurora Test Range Facility. This will involve the removal and replacement of existing poles with 1-phase power and associated guying, and the installation of new poles, 3-phase conductors, cross arm assemblies, guying, and 3-phase electrical service to the Aurora Test Range facility. Existing services will be refed from the new overhead conductors. The Contractor's responsibility shall include repair or replacement of damaged utilities. In the event of damage to the 15 KV electrical distribution system, the broadband or fiber optic cables, repair will consist of replacement from termination to termination. Facilities Services and the MSU Information Technology Center will verify repair and recertification. The Contractor will also be responsible for all costs associated with re-terminations and recertification. Scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, removal of existing poles and guying, installation of new poles, cross arms and appurtenances, overhead conductors, reconnection of existing services, and new service drop to the Aurora Test Range facility.
