To construct a 4,653 SQFT of Vehicle Paint and Prep Shop for the Combined Support Maintenance Shop that directly supports onsite maintenance and training. This facility will be built on the State of Montana Military Installation known as Fort William Henry Harrison in Helena, MT. (Current Mission). The facility will meet industry standards as well as all local, State, and Federal building codes. Construction will include all utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, aprons, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, and site improvements. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years in accordance with the Department of Defense’s (DoD's) Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance as per assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment (ASA IE&E) Sustainable Design and Development Policy updated 2017. Antiterrorism measures in accordance with the DoD Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards will be provided. The design of the facilities will follow the principles of LEED with a Silver rating requirement.
