Amendment 1 – The purpose of this amendment is to address and clarify the questions that were submitted. Please refer to the attached Questions and Answers document for full details.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented by the information contained in this notice.
This announcement serves as the only solicitation; quotations are hereby requested, and no separate written solicitation will be issued.
Quotes shall refer to Solicitation Number W911RZ-26-Q-A004.
This requirement calls for corporate level training on avalanche safety, backcountry snowmobiling, and planning methodology, rescue and rescue systems used during Military Winter Operations (MWO) as defined in the PWS. The dates for the contract are 02/02/2026 to 02/20/2026. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Contractor shall provide instruction and certification for AIARE Level 1 and Level 2 and be able to facilitate a level 1,2, and 3 movement and maneuver course. Additionally, the contractor shall have AIARE Level 1 and 2 and Avalanche rescue courses, hold an A3 Pro 1 certification, AIARE Instructor Course (ITC) and have a minimum of 5 years as an instructor. This training must take place in or aroud Whitefish Montana. In accordance with the PWS.
The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror(s) for any cost. This will be awarded to 100% Small Business Set Aside.
