INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Proposals for steam generating and compressed air equipment for Hangar 1 at Willow Run Airport.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Hangar 1 at Willow Run Airport (Willow Run) currently receives steam for heating and compressed air for general purpose and control from the neighboring General Motors (GM) Transmission plant. GM intends to cease transmission production January 2011, and to shut down the power plant April 2011.
