Summary of Specifications:
Through this Request for Bids (RFB), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids for to provide O.E.M. Ford parts and repairs at Detroit Metro Airport. The majority of this contract is for the purchase of parts however, the successful respondent (Contractor) shall provide Ford O.E.M. certified repairs when necessary based on the hourly flat rate provided. The Airport Authority maintains a fleet of more than 150 Ford vehicles at Detroit Metro Airport. The fleet is comprised of sports utility vehicles, trucks and vans and is used by multiple departments within the organization. Airport Authority staff members use O.E.M. parts to maintain these vehicles and ensure all vehicle warranties are honored.
