RFP-S10-074 - Natural Gas Broker

Summary of Specifications:
The Airport Authority purchases pipeline natural gas for the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Willow Run Airport. Currently, MichCon transports natural gas from the primary point of delivery to the point of use. Purchasing bulk gas for storage and use offers significant cost savings over local distributor gas. Through this Request for Proposals (RFP) the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Proposals to broker natural gas for the Wayne County Airport Authority. The Airport Authority purchases pipeline natural gas for the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Willow Run Airport. Gas will be purchased for the time frames recommended by the Authority. The Contractor shall act as Broker/agent for the Airport Authority, providing best cost resources and expertise in natural gas and alternate energy markets.
