PROJECT OVERVIEW: Through this Solicitation for Quotes (SFQ), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit quotes to provide parts for the motor control center which powers and controls the jet fans which provide ventilation to the North Tunnel at Detroit Metro Airport.

The motor control center for the Airport Authority’s North Tunnel and South Access Road jet fans are located inside the South Access Road Electrical Vault Building # 806 at Detroit Metro Airport. Many of the components of this system are in need of replacement due to age. The Wayne County Airport Authority seeks to obtain the necessary parts for later installation by Airport Authority staff.
