RFP-S07-140 Cell Lot - Design/Build Asphalt Parking Lot

Summary of Specifications:
Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit proposals to design and construct an asphalt parking lot at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Airport). Proposers must submit a preliminary design with their proposals by the Proposal Deadline. It is the intention of the Authority to obtain proposals for the design and construction of an asphalt “Cell Phone” parking lot (Cell Lot). The Cell Lot will be located at the south side of Eureka Road west of Wayne Road (see Section 8 – Attachments). The Cell Lot will be utilized by individuals driving to the Airport and waiting to pick-up arriving passengers. Currently, the Authority has temporarily designated locations at each terminal to accommodate passenger pick up. This project is anticipated to last approximately eight (8) weeks following the notice to proceed. It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued approximately August 1, 2007.
