Summary of Specifications:
Proposals are being solicited for the purpose of contracting with a qualified business to design, install, test and maintain the equipment [and all software] associated with a fully functional turn-key automated vehicle identification system (AVI System) at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Airport) that includes, but is not limited to, all equipment, hardware, all software and licenses, and equipment and software maintenance required for an AVI System that operates continuously, twenty-four (24) hours a day, every day of the year. The contract term will commence as of the date of the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) Notice to Proceed [pursuant to Task Order No. 1 (Assessment)], and will end one (1) year after the date of the Certificate of Acceptance. The contract will also include up to three (3) three-year renewal periods for equipment and software maintenance, thereafter exercisable at the sole discretion of the Airport Authority.
