Summary of Specifications:
This federally funded project consists of the reconstruction of Runway 3R-21L, partial reconstruction Taxiway W, and the partial reconstruction of connector taxiways between Runway 3R/21L and Taxiway W. The scope of work generally includes the demolition of existing facilities; grading; minor storm drainage improvements; underdrains; base preparation; crushed aggregate, 9” of asphalt treated permeable base, approximately 278,000 square yards of 17” Portland cement concrete pavement; joint sealing; bituminous pavement; airfield signage and marking; the installation of airfield electrical lighting and underground ducts; erosion control; turfing and other associated items required in the Project.
